So f ar as I am aware, no rule of any
sort has been laid down as to Governors or
others attending the Coronation Durbar in
India.
As Sir F.Lugard will be in his Colony for
the Coronation proper, I think it quite
right that he should have the solace of at-
tending the function in India.
Proceed as Mr. Robinson proposes.
November and December next and to attend the Coronation of
His Majesty in India. If you sanction my request I should be
very grateful if you would do what may be possible to secure
for myself and Lady Lugard and two Staff, such facilities
for viewing the ceremony as the Government of India may be
able to afford.
